All Communication Through Libby

For safety, teens and families do not directly exchange contact information. All initial communication and scheduling happens through Libby's Lending Hands. This protects both parties and ensures proper oversight of all jobs.

Contact Information

Full addresses and phone numbers are only shared when necessary for job completion. Teens receive job location details only after being matched and confirmed. Families receive teen contact info only after confirmation.

Teen Screening

All teens go through a registration process that includes:

• Profile verification and review by Libby
• Emergency contact information on file
• Skills and experience verification
• Community references when available

Adult Verification

Adults can become verified members for added trust. Verification includes confirming identity and local residence. Verified adults receive a badge on their profile visible to teens.

For Families

Please provide at least 24 hours notice when canceling a job. Last-minute cancellations without good reason may affect your ability to book future jobs. We understand emergencies happen - just communicate with us.

For Teens

Reliability is essential. If you commit to a job, you're expected to show up. Cancellations should be rare and communicated as early as possible. Repeated last-minute cancellations may result in removal from the platform.
